A campus in mourning, VT April 2007

The blue sky turns red with innocent blood.
Sweet life fades with the act of a madman
Who knew?
One after the other, they left this earth
They had no idea what was in store
Who knew?
This madman had planned and took his own life
He had no respect for student or teacher
Who knew?
Thirty two lives now in gods care
one lost soul in limbo forever
Who knew
The nation mourns for those lost lives
Prayers are lifted for all involved
Who knew?
We are now forever in debt for those lives
There is no repayment plan for them
Who knew?
God will take care of them, all of them
Even the one who lost his way
We know!
