Mountain Tops and Ocean beaches

I once traveled to the lowest depths of life's valley.
I once sunk beneath sea level and nearly drown in my own pity.
Then, like remembering how to ride a bicycle,
I climbed and broke free from the water, gasped for breath,
and saw once again how beautiful life is from mountain Tops and ocean beaches.

Time Collection

I collect time in closets and boxes stowing away remnants of life.
I collect time in every footstep, minutes upon minutes wear down my tread.
I collect time in wrinkles and sags marking my body in age.
I collect time.
Every Second.
Every Day,
but soon, I'm told,
Time will collect me.
