In the Aldrich Park

Tranquility reigns in the circle
of first encounter.
You and I share similar weary lives’ past.
You give me the fact - I the heart.

In a short time of acquaintance,
I ascend to the level of brevity.
I tell you my life cycle without hesitation
and count your fingers and facial expression
as well as words and cords.

I see the beauty of altered sea water as the salt-doll
helplessly had melted down from her own existence.
“Where did she come from and where is she gone?”
I will grab her too in my own way.

Your air, touch, fragrance, and resonance
seem so close and sometimes so far away
from the depth and breadth of my heart.

Your sparkling eyes under the shades of the trees
are scintillating beyond of my imagination.
Possibility opens in the very peak of the Park
as an early evening breeze strokes my skin.

The steps are taken on a memory lane
between you and me
in eternity.
