The Poetry-Film Contest 2009
A Film based on The Winning Poem will
be created
by award winning filmmaker Richard E. Schiff and
That Film will be Featured on
the front page of
PoetryMagazine.com in the Winter 2008-2009 Edition.
There could be more than one
winner, and if
you are a WINNER your poetry
will be seen by publishers, editors, & writers
around the world in this prominent position !
Film creator, Mr. Schiff attended New York
University Film School and is a Life Member of New York City's world
famous Art Students League. His film work has appeared on Public
Broadcasting and has been distributed by the Walter Reade
Corporation and seen on screens across the Nation. Recently a film
he contributed to - Freeheld - won a
First Prize in the 2007 Sundance Film Festival &
an Academy Award .
The WINNER'S VIDEO will be
Featured in the Winter 2008-2009 edition of PoetryMagazine.com.
There is a minimal Entry Fee of $25.00. Payment may be made
by check.
Mary Barnet will consult with a panel of well known poets to judge this
Contest.
The decision of the Judges will be final.
Deadline for Entries has been extended to January 1st, 2009.
No poems will be considered if they contain vulgarity or profanity
or overt sexual language or descriptions.
CONTEST REQUIREMENTS
By entering this contest you certify that you are at least 21 years
old.
If You have a recording of yourself reading poetry send that to us,
preferably as an mp3 or .wav file on a CD or by e-mail. If you do
not have recording facilities we will record the poem for you if you
are selected as Winner. You must e-mail poetry to us at
barnetschiff@aol.com .
Note Contest in the Subject area of the email.
CD's and your check for $25.00,
should be made out to T.A.P.E., Inc

The winner is announced on January 1, 2009.
In the Subject line of the e-mail submission must appear the word
CONTEST.
Include your name, address and your email address
so it can be connected to your entry fee.
Please also include a telephone number where you can be reached.
Files and other submissions cannot be returned. They are considered
the property of the Publisher though individual artists retain their
copyrights to all submitted material. All submissions will be
evaluated for

contest.
