Honesty

when you come to me and say
i want to spend time with you today
the honesty overwhelms me and i see
the heart within you as a tall tree
in your wisdom and strength
you hold up that which has been said
by the "spoken word"
your word has been your bond
never changing speaking very loud
knowing what was said is what will be
being able to trust you honestly
