The Feeling

That feeling came today,
It covered my face like a veil
And flowed through my veins
Like water released into a pipe
That feeling, it has been absent for day
For weeks even months,
And now every face looks familiar
They bring back memories in torrents
Of faces long forgotten
Of roads trodden in the past,
The faces became voices
And they bring back echoes from yesterdays ago,
They made me shiver with nostalgia
These feelings have come again
And am awake from my slumber
Though I dream , I dream awake
