has since won a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Native Writers
Circle of the Americas, an Oklahoma Book Award, a Western American
Literature Lifetime Achievement Award, and grants from the National
Endowment for the Arts. Adrienne Rich, in praise of Harjo's
