Liz's Breeze
Often I have ideas
They float around
Like tiny particles
In the wind
And it is easy
To grasp them
And let them run
Wild in my eager mind
Well,
Why can't you
Be like those ideas
Like the particles
Lost in the wind
I would seek you out
And grasp a hold of you
Hoping love would come next
Somersault
I'll somersault on a day
When the sun seems sultry
Maybe it will be in the springtime
Or summer even
My soul could use some solace
That a blissful day could bring
Maybe I'll somersault
With the soft sand comforting
The soles of my feet
And as I somersault smoothly
Down the beach a spritz
Of ocean water will soothe
Not only my body
But my soul too
I'll somersault
With out a care
Not worrying of sorrow
Of the world's stupidity
I'll somersault on a day
When the sun seems sultry
Maybe on the beach
With the soft sand comforting
The soles of my feet
I'll somersault
With out a care
During Winter
The autumn air
Flows through my hair
and I wonder
About summer
The tears flow
At times only God knows
Why I'm so unhappy
Could he share
That information with me
Maybe I need
The sand beneath my feet
Or an hour massage
To clear the stress
Honest to God
I just don't know
Why at times
I feel this way
Times come when
I smile
And my teeth like pearls shine
And I feel that I've always been fine
The autumn air
Blows through my hair
And I wonder
About summer
