Jacqueline Marcus's first book of poems, Close to the Shore, will be published by Michigan State University Press in the spring 2002. She is the editor of ForPoetry.com. She teaches philosophy at Cuesta College.

Kevin D. Prufer is the author of two books of poetry. The first, STRANGE WOOD, was awarded the 1997 Winthrop Prize (now the Lena-Miles Wever Todd Poetry Prize). The second, THE FINGER BONE, is forthcoming in 2002 from Carnegie Mellon University Press.
