| Julie Ann Dawson USA Mahalo Blue and red lights trace the beginning of the long journey home. And as I look out the window, the shrinking city lights wink knowingly at me. I smile. And the islands open up their palms and wave farewell to me, as they slowly fade and we become one with the sky. I take so much with me, yet leave no empty void behind. Peacefulness slips gently into my heart and the world becomes clear. My soul sleeps softly now having witnessed Eden's beauty and knowing it survived my ancestors' neglect. I rest. In my new dreams Hawaiian seas caress my cold skin and warm me, enveloping my mind in loving beams of creation-- calming my anxious brain. I whisper to the winds "Thank you." All Rights Reserved.
