Dancing Bear is the editor-in-chief of
Disquieting Muses an on-line magazine devoted to poetry and art.
He is also the owner of Dream Horse Press, an invitation-only
publisher of poetry books and chapbooks.
She has
received a Fellowship in Literature from the Pennsylvania Council
on the Arts. Gargano has published poetry in Prairie Schooner,
Poem, Sing Heavenly Muse!, The Pittsburgh Quarterly, The
Pittsburgh Post Gazette, and Northeast Journal.
Co-editor
of The Collected Poems of Robert Lowell, he is the author of a book
of poems, In the Belly (University of Chicago Press). A graduate
of Michigan and Berkeley, he ran writing programs at Harvard, and
now teaches poetry at Georgetown. Recent work appears in Slate.com,
Chicago Review, Salamander, Handbook of Heartbreak, New American
Poets, Academy of American Poets Anthology, etc.
Subritzky was awarded the
American Vietnam Veterans (honorary) Distinguished Service Medal
1997, citation "for his contribution to all veterans of the
Asian conflict and immortalizing the Vietnam Veterans of New Zealand
for all time". In his most recent project, Subritzky assisted
with the official New Zealand Millennium Television Series "Our
People - Our Century" TVNZ, 2000.
