Laughing
God is round,
Like a cheeseburger,
Sinking,
In flames
In the depths of the sky,
Below which all the unhappy people donate their misspent breaths.
But in the morning,
When discontent sinks into the sea green with envy,
Cracking the throats of all the happy people,
I sit,
And think,
About when you were scared,
And helpless
And dying.
Then I laugh,
As you,
Tired,
Worn,
And alive,
Walk around dead
Over a raging sea of delight,
While I sit
Laughing.
