The World Is Not Enough

Pearls lie bestrewn
on ocean bed
deep under the surface.

God cannot fathom
the woman's mind -
why man lost Eden -

why he was borne by a virgin.

Wizards of mathematics
cannot define
infinity!

I look into
Morpheus's eyes
and dream:

I'm walking on
the streets of
timelessness

and beside the rhododendron
in Olessa, there's a temple
of a Hindu Godess.

A messenger from heaven
sings the glory of
Christian joy.

Bachhus, the god of wine
gives me a glass
of his brew.

I drink it from his hands
and traverse
eternity.

I see the stars - broken-hearted
their bank balances
dwindling!

The sun in the morn
has gone
a-begging!

The moon is still young.
On her milky cheek
there's a dimple!

I see time and space closeted
in a dark board-room, discussing
Eternal Resource Planning

Elizabethan splendor
is spelt out to me
in their verses

by the romantic poets-
the very children
of The Muse.

Modern poetry is amorphous
makes tough reading -
it's comprehension still worse

I read Keats's
Endymion.
I hear a voice

from centuries behind
"O man thy destiny is blest!
The world is all thine!"

>From the eternal spring
gushes out fragrance of
Neheroonian fame!

I see the serene
countenance of
the Buddha.

Secrets of non-dualism
are revealed to me
by a sage!

I dive into the sea of immortality
and pick up the bestrewn pearls -
shining like children's tears.

Children burst crackers
as I behold
with passion -

Olessa's pride
wearing the crown
of beauty's queen!

She is annoyed as her email
is infested with
sycophantic garbage!

She has no time-machine
to go prevent the birth
of obsequious nincompoops!

I exclaim in
Peirce Bosnan style -
"The world is not enough!"

Note: Neheroon is a girl's name and Olessa is her hometown.
