Which Color?

Which color will you turn when you die?

A mighty lobster,
king of all crustaceans,
turns red
furious to expire in a pot on a stove and
a maple leaf,
the symbol of great Canada,
becomes yellow
fearful of falling and fading into mulch and
an old loaf of bread, 
once beautiful under cellophane,
turns green
envious of newly made bread and
an unplanted walnut seed,
packed with potential,
goes black
despondent
over not sinking
into the ground and given a chance to grow.
