Always You
I looked around and I found you,
many times in many men.
I turned around, and I looked up
to find that it was always you.
I will always hear heaven in your
voice and eternity in your words.
I have waited for this day that we
would meet, beyond the good and the
bad, in a place where love is called
forgiveness.
In an eternal circle, we have arrived
back at where we once stood.
Music
Music is God given,
something that lifts
the soul up to God.
Music should be ele-
vated, and not cele-
brated in the midst
of drunks, drug ad-
dicts, and fools,
where no one pays it
high regard, but
rather consumes and
encircles it with
walls of darkness
against which the mind
can't guard.
We should not give
pearls to swine, and
treat God's gifts as
such.
Music should sit upon
its own thrown, crowned,
and encircled with light.
No one should have to make
his bed in Hell in order
to display such a glorious
gift.
Thirst
The sun will thirst for water,
and the desert for the sea.
The clouds will thirst for the sun,
and you will for me.
Desert flower, clouded by the sun,
sun shower, you are the one,
burning bush, burn until you're done,
multi-coloured rainbow, tell me where
you're from.
Poured out waters, spring into my well,
drink of me, and no one will tell,
walk away slowly into the night,
away from the light of day,
where no one is in sight.
You are my secret disciple,
and no one must know.
