Sheila Hellman
Sheila passed on
November 24 of this year, she will be sorely missed. She had
received a poetry fellowship from the New Jersey State Council
on the Arts, and has had fellowship residencies at Yaddo,
Virginia Center for the Arts, Karoly Foundation (France),
Villa Montalvo, and Mishkinot (Israel).
She was awarded a
fellowship at Foundation Valparaiso (Spain) June 1997.
Larry Jaffe
At the Moondog Cafe in
Hollywood, Larry hosts PoeticLicense, rated one of the
hottest, high-energy venues in Southern Cal. Jaffe strives to
provide a safe haven for poets to bring their works alive. He
has been featured throughout the country in various poetry
venues and has been a featured poet at numerous festivals and

Carlos Martinez
has been a featured reader at
Richard Hugo House, the 1999 Seattle Poetry Festival and
the Poets Speak Series at Seattle's Frye Art Museum. Martinez
is presently completing his requirements for an MFA in
Creative Writing from Antioch University Los Angeles.
Ingrid Wendt
Most recently on the MFA
creative writing faculty of Antioch University, Los Angeles,
Wendt has been a Senior Fulbright Professor at the University
of Frankfurt/Main, Germany, and has taught for over 20 years
in various Arts-in-Education programs in several states.
