The Man at The Computer

He sits at his computer often disgusted by it’s pace.
For his brain works faster than the little screens face.

His neurons have rapid fire thoughts of colors and schemes.
Filling his mind with delightful dreams.

Things to say, people to see, and things to do.
People to console, sympathize with, and get to know.

Armed with weapons superior,
A sharp tongue and brave defender.

Watch out for the charm and disarming smile.
Truth is his armor and opinion without guile.

He’ll fight lions, tigers and bears.
Look you in the eye and say “I don’t care.”

He wants to make the world a better place
And his pain is in deaf ears and a simpletons pace.

Time is his badge but patience he beckons.
He has all the answers but still seeks the questions.

Living in a Bottle

Living in a bottle can be exhilarating.
There are benefits of solitude airy
Somewhere in the deapths of my mind
Buried there, the value alludes me.

Perhaps the single sun beam
Enclosing me in warmth
Folding me in tenderness
Touching my soul with its strength.

Escaping from the realities of life
Creating my own actuality
In times caplet of existence
I can ponder endlessly.

Sharing my sage advice
Is of no concern to others
For in my bottle of silence
I am always right and without errors.

Perhaps if my bottle were tossed into the ocean
A kind compassionate someone would set me free
To join the world that is never isolated
For living in a bottle is not all it’s thought to be.
