No Art

We have no art
Only images judged by bitter angry people
without hope
Seeking confirmation of political agendas
and their human religion
They deem what is art and what isn't
Like meat inspectors looking for rot
They analyze and sample
Without passion and insight they demand
Thought for what must be felt
Structure for what is fluid
Cold logic for the soul's raging 
They mold and crush work they
could never understand or create
They complicate the simple
Overlook the genius
Worse yet they shackle hearts 
and demand their focus
on those who can create
until creativity dies under the weight
of their lifeless view
We have no artists
only survivors
