The Darkest Life
Who I am I do not know.
By a name is how I go.
I know I come from up above.
Created with a lot of love.
My mother was in a difficult position,
and she had to make a tough decision.
Two families are in my past,
one anonymous, one still lasts.
I've lived in the dark long enough.
I demand the right to know some stuff.
Life is full of mysteries,
but one should not be my history.
By a name is how I go,
but who I am I still don't know.

LOVE
Lost in feelings of the heart,
Over head and soul we bound.
Voices speaking whispered words,
Exciting and scary they sound.
Love is a force much stronger than steel,
that makes us human, makes us real.

A TASTE OF LIFE*
The Eagle soars above the world
to witness many things.
The Eagle who's so very quiet
can observe so many things.
He sees a boy and girl in love.
They're walking hand in hand.
They stop and smile at one another
right there on the warm beach sand.
He hears a family in a house,
where Father screams at Son.
He hears a smack and hears a cry,
and sees the scared boy run.
He smells a fire down below
where people were camping that night.
He hears the screaming fire engines,
and knows it'll be all right.
He tastes the life of every day.
It's a savory meal indeed.
A meal of happiness, care, and love,
of cruelty, hatred, and greed.
