Dodge the Crowd

What? A dream?

A dream of something white.

You say you cannot see

the wonderous light

You want what all

before you had.

You want the joy,

you want the moon.

Wise men came to

test it all

to take it all away,

but their wisdom

faded to foolishness

in your beauty.

Your beauty made my

eyes water and all

my memories went away.

I only remember you.

Your words, your thoughts,

your walk. Your walk.

They talk about your walk,

and you just want

the quiet and go your

beautiful way.
